Carlian forwarded to me an e-mail from Carol Doty, Sr. (cadotysr@msn.com) with the history of Mary Boone. Unknown sources at this time, but the first record I have seen of her maiden name and 3 spouses. They are following the Delse Brummett line. They also list her as Eliza Elizabeth Boone (Boon)

They give different dates, death and birth as well as where buried. Set as default.

From the same e-mail:

"We have just begun on the family of Eliza Boone. Carol's family has always said that she was full blood Indian. Last Friday, at the library, I found a Thomas Boone that MIGHT be her father. He is in Rankin County, MS, 1840 and Lafayette County, Arkansas, 1850. Still need to do some more work on him".

A probate record shows her as Mrs. E.E. Dodson (third husband) so it backs up the name Eliza Elizabeth, so Mary must be a nickname.
